Violin lessons for children and adults
Our violin teachers help students develop the essential skills like bowing technique, finger placement, rhythm and timing. for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced musicians . Our teachers can also help students who have joined their school orchestras or are looking to audition for other musical groups. Lessons are available on weekday afternoons, and Saturdays.

Encore on Strings – Music Maestros
BMS Academy Encore on Strings Music Maestros is for 6 – 12 year old beginners who want to learn the violin. Lessons are taught in a fun and dynamic group environment, similar to our Encore on Keys Program. Students start by learning the essentials of the violin, including postrue and stance, forming a balanced and flexible bow hold and pizzicato and arco playing.

Children under 8:
For children under the age of eight, we recommend they start their musical journey with either our Encore Group Piano or Encore on Strings Classes, which are specially designed to teach children in the same way they learn language. This introduces music to children with piano or violin as the instrument.
