Saxophone, clarinet and flute lessons for children and adults
Our woodwind teachers offer lessons in all genres and styles, including classical, rock, pop, blues, and jazz, for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced musicians looking to refine their techniques. Additionally, we help students who have joined their school bands or orchestras or are looking to audition for other musical groups. Lessons are available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons.

Aspire Program for flute
BMS Academy is proud to introduce their Aspire! program for musicians ready to advance beyond Grade 6 exam equivalent to university preparation and above. Our Aspire! flute teachers are Ngaire Hosking and Beth Hwang. Ngaire has many years of teaching and performance expereince and Beth holds a Doctorate in the Physiology of Flute Playing. Both Beth and Ngaire are highly qualified and expererinced to take students to Grade 8 and beyond.
Children under 8:
For children under the age of eight, we recommend they start their musical journey with our Encore Group Piano Classes, which are specially designed to teach children in the same way they learn language. This introduces music to children with piano as the instrument. Once they have developed musical skills, it is easier for them to learn another instrument, like saxophone, clarinet or flute.
